The Richmond County Health Department offers the following contraceptive methods:
Birth control pills
Depo-Provera
Diaphragm
Nexplanon 
Intra-Uterine Device (IUD)
Male condoms
Natural family planning
Nuva Ring
Emergency Contraception (EC)

Cost and Payment Information

Medicaid and most private insurance is accepted for Family Planning and Pregnancy Testing services. If you are an uninsured or self-pay client, these services will be provided to you on a sliding scale. Your income and family size will determine your fee. See fee schedule.

What Should You Bring to the Appointment?
Insurance, HMO, and/or Medicaid card
Proof of income (paycheck stub or W-2)
Personal Identification (driver's license, Social Security card, birth certificate, Medicaid card, state, work, school, or military ID badge)
