Programs and services provided by the Richmond County Department of Social Services are funded through federal, state and county revenues, in addition to grants and other donations, to meet the community’s priorities as defined by the Board of County Commissioners.
Our Mission
The Mission of the Richmond County Department of Social Services is to develop and implement human services programs which are intended to promote the health, well-being, self sufficiency and protection of families, children and adults within our communities.
